Events: The Children's Committees are the key to this project's success. They represent the children of our community. Their job is to keep the children of their schools informed and help them become involved in the development of this project. The participating schools include Easton Elementary School Dobson and Moton, Saints Peter and Paul and the Country School. Each school has a children's committee that acts as a liaison between those designing the park and those building it. Check back often since each school will be hosting project-related events on their school grounds.
A large flock of wild flamingos has been spotted circling over the town of Easton, looking for a friendly lawn to land on. Our sources tell us that once they land, these flamingos can only be removed by a professional flamingo handler. The fee for flamingo removal is $45, for an additional $5, you may specify the next location for the flock. All funds paid for flamingo removal will go directly towards the construction of Project Idlewild.
If you are highly allergic to flamingos, or have an intense aversion, phobia or other flamingo-related disorder, you may purchase Flamingo Insurance. A contribution of $25 will ensure that these birds never grace your lawn. If you would like to purchase Flamingo Insurance, please fill out the form below.
For answers to any other questions regarding the Flamingo Flock, please contact us at flamingo@projectidlewild.org.
